When staying at The Old Mill Cottage, you have everything you need close to hand inside the cottage in terms of amenities – while having the freedom to come and go, explore, and do as you please during your stay.

If you’re looking for something special – and we’re sure you are – you won’t find many cottages with more character and luxury than The Old Mill Cottage.

Built around 1700, you’re treated to much of the original historic architecture – with all of the modern comforts you’ll need for a short stay.

When you step outside, you’re within a short drive of historic towns Cheltenham and Cirencester, and a short walk from many of Stroud’s points of interest.

We’ve gone above and beyond to make sure everyone has everything they could possibly need for a short stay.

Whether you’re in town to relax, fit in as much sightseeing as possible, or catch up on work, we like to think your expectations will be exceeded.

There is a separate, private entrance to the cottage and you can check yourself in with the keypad.

Once inside, you’re in for a cosy stay with central heating and a wood burner in the bedroom. There is an array of modern facilities including Superfast WiFi, a Smart TV, and a dedicated area you can use as a workspace.

The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you’ll need to prepare meals for a short stay, and you have the option of dining indoors, or out on the patio.

The cottage is fantastic and the location is absolutely stunning. We really couldn’t have asked for anything more and will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage and the village are the stuff of fairy tales! Make sure you visit the local pub, The Butchers Arms for food! Steve and Tazmin are great hosts.

Somewhere peaceful and away from crowds.

Beautiful surroundings and nature, great walks, and hardly anyone else around. The cottage is a former silk mill and beautifully traditional. Steve provides lovely extras like some pastries, milk and orange juice, plus coffee and tea, and was very friendly and helpful.

Perfect for a weekend away.

If you are looking for an old looking cosy quiet cottage in the middle of a remote village with a nice pub around the corner then this is perfect for you! everything you need inside and somehow still has the cosy feeling!
